About this file

This document includes a sole source justification and request for quote for Vocera communication devices. The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office is seeking to procure additional Vocera badges, licenses, and accessories from Vocera Communications to expand the existing communication system at the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center. The sole source justification cites the proprietary nature of the Vocera solution and its compatibility with the medical center's current system. The RFQ provides pricing tables for the Vocera products with a response deadline of June 20, 2023. The solicitation is set aside for service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and will result in a firm-fixed price contract awarded based on technical acceptability and price factors.

This two-part government file includes a sole source justification under the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13.5 and a related request for quote to acquire additional Vocera communication devices from the sole manufacturer, Vocera Communications, to expand the existing system at the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center. Evaluation criteria and response requirements are outlined for the 100% SDVOSB set-aside solicitation, with pricing provided and a response deadline of June 20, 2023 for the firm-fixed price contract award.
