About this file

This document is a Purchase Order Request for Proposals (PORFP) issued by the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) for Aruba Upgrades. The PORFP is seeking proposals for network communication equipment, including 44 Aruba AP-635 wireless access points and associated mounting brackets, as well as installation and training services. The proposal is due on October 27, 2023, with questions due by October 20, 2023. The work is to be performed at the DHCD office in Lanham, Maryland, with a delivery date of December 1, 2023 for the network equipment. This is a Small Business Reserve (SBR) procurement with a 10% Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) participation goal for the installation and training services.

The evaluation will be based on the total bid price, with all responsible bidders ranked from lowest to highest price. This PORFP is issued under the State of Maryland's Hardware Master Contract, and only Master Contractors awarded under that contract are eligible to submit proposals. Bidders must be authorized resellers for the Aruba equipment and provide a Mercury Affidavit as applicable.
