About this file
This document appears to be a Q&A related to an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the procurement of washers and dryers to be delivered to Jessup, MD 20794 in Howard County, Maryland. The IFB provides responses to three questions, clarifying that cords are needed (240 watts for dryers, standard for washers), the models listed can use pull dial to start rather than push to start, and the department would like the units delivered as quickly as possible, preferably within 60 days.
The contract opportunity involves the procurement of washers and dryers for the specified location and jurisdiction. While delivery timelines were not explicitly stated in the IFB, the department has indicated a preference for the units to be delivered within 60 days if possible. No other pricing terms, set asides, incumbent information, funding sources, or additional salient details were provided in the Q&A document.

Q1) Are Vents and cords needed? 3 or 4 prong?
A1) Cords are needed, Dryers > 3 prong (240 watts), washers are standard prong w/ground.
Q2) Models listed on IFB are not push start, they are pull dial to start.
A2) Use the model number or equal, disregard the push to start if that is not the start type on the model listed on the IFB.
Q3) How Urgently does the department need these units delivered by?
A3) Delivery time wasn’t listed on the IFB, but they would like to have the units as quickly as possible, before 60 days seems to be reasonable if they need to wait for them.
