SUMMARY OF PROJECT ACTIVITIES

The project is part of continued construction of the Trenton Indian Service Area, a political subdivision of the Turtle Mountain Bank of Chippewa Indians.

Trenton Indian Service Area (TISA), along with Reclamation and the Indian Health Service, will identify and make improvements to the existing tribal water system. Tasks include replacing existing fire hydrants and control valves, plus the installation of additional pipeline to loop the existing TISA water distribution system.

TISA is also working with these same Federal partners to install a pressure reducing valve vault and associated components to replace the existing booster pump station. This will allow the Tribe to meet the current and future water demands of the TWUA.
