STATEMENT OF OBJECTIVES (SOO)

Boeing 767-type Course Training McConnell AFB, Kansas

GENERAL:

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, training materials, supervision and any other items and/or services necessary to facilitate the education and qualification of Boeing 767-type training for KC-46 air crew pilots. The B-767-type training objective is to present flight crew members with essential knowledge for understanding the basic functions of the aircraft systems, the integration of aircraft systems, operational procedures, and the use of the individual system components. The core curriculum shall consist of an FAA approved course of training which leads to a type rating in the B767 aircraft and also for pilots to meet the Air Transport Pilot (ATP) requirements of 14 CFR Part 61 to obtain an ATP certificate upon conclusion of the course.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:

The government training objectives to achieve are as follows:

1. Must be able to train eighty (80) pilots (40 air crews) by December 31, 2020.

2. Training course must be FAA approved prior to contract start date.

3. Training must be completed in less than or equal to 10 calendar days.

4. A minimum 72 hours of self-directed and computer based training.

5. A minimum of 36 hours of instructor lead training and exams.

6. Obtain a B767-type rating and ATP certificate at conclusion of course.
