About this file

This is Addendum #1 to a solicitation by the State of Georgia for the Purchase of Law Enforcement Duty Gear on an Annual Contract. The bid deadline has been postponed to 2:50 P.M. on November 5, 2021, with bids to be time-stamped upon receipt. The solicitation permits partial bids, and bidders must specify delivery timelines in the "Delivery Days A.R.O." column of the Bid Schedule. The County will have ninety (90) days from the bid deadline to award the annual contract. Bidders are required to sign the addendum in the space provided and return it with their bid submission; failure to do so may result in the bid being deemed non-responsive.

The addendum clarifies that the ninety-day period referenced in the bid schedule pertains to the County's timeframe for contract award rather than product lead time or delivery schedules following purchase order issuance. No information regarding pricing terms, set-asides, incumbents, funding sources, or contract renewal options is provided in this addendum document.

Purchase of Law Enforcement Duty Gear on an Annual Contract

***The Bid Deadline has been postponed to 2:50 P.M. on November 5, 2021.***

The following is a summation of questions and answers received for the above bid.

Q1. On page 11 of the bid schedule, it states “In compliance with the attached specifications, the undersigned offers and agrees, within ninety (90) days of the date of bid opening, to furnish any or all of the items upon which prices are bid, at the price set opposite each item, delivered to the designated point(s) within the time specified in the bid schedule.” Is the 90-day lead time negotiable?

A1. That language is not referring to lead time or delivery after receipt of order. That language is stating that the County has ninety (90) days from the bid deadline to award the annual contract. Bidders should include a number of days for delivery after receipt of a purchase order in the “Delivery Days A.R.O.”

column of the Bid Schedule.

Q2. Are partial bids accepted?

A2. Yes, partial bids are accepted.

This addendum should be signed in the space provided below and returned with your bid. Failure to do so may result in your bid being deemed non-responsive.
