About this file
This is Addendum #1 to solicitation BL112-21 issued by Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners for maintenance and repair of radio towers supporting an 800MHz radio system on an annual contract basis. The solicitation seeks services for tower maintenance and repair work, including painting when requested. The county specified response requirements for service calls, with emergency service-affecting issues requiring onsite response within 24 hours unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, and non-emergency service requiring response within 72 hours. One tower location is identified at 770 Hi Hope Road, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30043, located behind Police Headquarters. The addendum clarifies that personnel do not require background checks to access this facility, as site access is provided by Gwinnett County personnel as needed. Bids must be received no later than 2:50 p.m. on the specified due date, and either mailed or hand-delivered submissions are acceptable. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of the addendum on Page 4 of the bid document.
The addendum addresses pricing and operational procedures, clarifying that tower painting services requested during the contract term will be performed at the awarded hourly rates rather than as a separate bid item. Gwinnett County notes that it does not currently accept electronic submittals for formal solicitations and maintains an ineligible source list; firms on this list or currently debarred or suspended are prohibited from submitting offers or bids. The solicitation applies only to vendors not appearing on the Gwinnett County ineligible source list during the period of their debarment or suspension status.
