About this file

This document is an Addendum No. 2 to Bid No. BL029-24 for the "F. Wayne Hill Water Resources Center Fire Alarm Fiber Optic Installation" contract issued by Gwinnett County, Georgia. The addendum postpones the bid submittal deadline from March 4, 2024 to March 18, 2024 at 2:50 PM. The project involves upgrading the existing fire alarm fiber optic network at the F. Wayne Hill Water Resources Center, but excludes upgrading the fire alarm panels and field devices, which will be addressed under a separate contract.

The contract documents indicate that the completed work will provide Gwinnett County with a new fiber optic loop for the fire alarm monitoring system, including lockable patch panels to segregate the fire alarm fiber from other plant fiber cables. No other pricing, set-aside, incumbent, funding, or other salient information is provided in the addendum or related contract opportunity.
