About this file

This is Addendum #1 to bid solicitation BL020-26 issued by the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners in Georgia for the Construction of Bethesda Park Pickleball Courts. The addendum addresses two critical questions raised during the pre-bid conference regarding site conditions and permitting requirements. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum in the designated space on page 15 of the bid documents and return it with their submission; failure to do so may result in bid rejection as non-responsive.

The addendum clarifies that contractors are responsible for verifying waterline locations and sizes at the pickleball court site, which may require potholing and testing of existing valves to determine which waterlines currently serve the area. Additionally, a permit is required for the new pavilion component of the project, and bidders must plan to submit manufacturer shop drawings for permitting review. These requirements represent essential pre-construction tasks that contractors must account for in their bid planning and cost estimates.
