About this file

This document is a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the Erie 2-Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) for biometric screening services. The RFP seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive biometric screening for employees, with services to be implemented from February 1, 2025, through January 31, 2026, and the option to renew the contract three times for one-year increments. The screening will include on-site collection in Erie and Chautauqua counties, with online registration beginning in late January 2025 and on-site screenings planned for mid-March 2025. Required screenings include biometric measurements (height, weight, blood pressure, BMI) and laboratory tests (lipids profile, glucose, A1C1 testing), with options for participant registration via online and call center platforms, off-site collection, and confidential result delivery through U.S. mail and online methods.

The RFP requires detailed information from potential vendors, including organizational background, experience, financial stability, references, technical capabilities, and approach to service delivery. Vendors must outline their processes for ensuring screening accuracy, handling confidential health information, managing participant results, and addressing potential issues. While specific pricing details are not explicitly stated in the document, the RFP indicates that vendors should provide a comprehensive breakdown of compensation, including per-person costs for measurements and labs, data download fees, and potential additional charges. The document emphasizes the need for transparency in compensation and requires vendors to certify there are no undisclosed compensation arrangements at the vendor or internal company level.
