About this file
This document is a bilaterally signed contract award for Lamotrigine Extended Release (ER) tablets. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support awarded contract SPE2D2-25-D-0013 to AvKARE, LLC for $15,978,181.35, covering a 5-year period from May 13, 2025. The contract includes six different dosage strengths of Lamotrigine ER tablets (25mg, 50mg, 100mg, 200mg, 250mg, and 300mg), each packaged in 30-count bottles, with consistent annual quantities across a base year and four option years. The tablets will be manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals at their Brookhaven, New York facility, with packaging performed by APACE Packaging LLC and R&S Northeast, LLC in Fountain Run, Kentucky.
The contract includes standard federal acquisition regulations, small business subcontracting provisions, and clauses related to ethics, equal opportunity, and various governmental requirements. Notable contract characteristics include a HUBZone small business price evaluation preference, utilization of small business concerns, and specific flow-down requirements for subcontractors. The pricing varies by dosage strength, ranging from $24.65 for the 25mg tablets to $166.78 for the 250mg tablets, with estimated annual quantities for each strength ranging from 3,216 to 15,775 bottles.
