About this file

This document provides details on an advisory downselect process for background investigation fieldwork services. The Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency seeks to understand contractor capabilities to perform nationwide background investigations and investigative items in accordance with federal standards. Interested contractors are invited to submit responses by a specified closing date addressing their technical, financial, and experience qualifications to meet geographic coverage, strict timeliness requirements, and potential workload variances including large monthly volume increases or decreases. The agency will evaluate submissions to determine contractor viability for a formal solicitation anticipated in early 2022 for provision of in-person background investigation fieldwork and services worldwide as needed, including conducting subject interviews, record searches and collections, and reporting completed under quality standards without risk to national security or agency missions.
