About this file
This is a Questions & Answers document for RFP No. 2500000001022 issued by the State of Michigan for Family Preservation - Family Skills Services in Huron, Lapeer, and Tuscola Counties. The RFP seeks contractors to provide family skills services, which includes developing service plans within 30 days of initial home visits with clients. The services are available to both DHHS cases and Private Foster Care agency cases.
The document clarifies specific requirements including the administration of assistance funds averaging $300 per family, which requires a written plan detailing fund disbursement procedures and tracking. It also corrects discrepancies in the original RFP, specifying that vendors need only provide three years of past service experience rather than five years, and clarifies that service plans are due within 30 days of the first home visit rather than the referral date. These corrections will be formally addressed in Amendment 1 to the RFP.
