About this file

This is a Bid Scope Materials List for a residential rehabilitation project located at 28 Archer Ave in Escambia County, Florida, with contact information provided by NED (Scott Sanchez, 850-595-0827, jssanchez@myescambia.com). The scope specifies detailed products and materials for kitchen, bathroom, and general home systems, including fixtures such as a GE range and cooktop, Delta faucets, Whirlpool refrigerator, American Standard toilet, and various lighting and plumbing components. Additionally, the scope includes materials for roofing (CertainTeed Landmark), flooring (Shaw LVP and carpet), HVAC systems, windows, and a 50-gallon A.O. Smith water heater. The project establishes specific standards for installation work, including requirements for braided supply lines on plumbing fixtures, proper finishing on trim and drywall (including taping, mudding, texturing, and painting), square-edged laminate countertops with four-inch backsplash, and plywood or solid hardwood cabinetry without particle board. All electrical appliances must be ENERGY STAR approved with LED bulbs.

Licensed and insured general contractors in good standing with Escambia County are eligible to bid on this project, with new county contractors required to submit a letter of insurability. The county reserves the right to award line items individually for emergency services limited to roofing and septic/sewer work. Bids must be submitted through OPENGOV only. Contractors are obligated to use like, similar, or equal valued products as specified and must assume responsibility for moving furniture while protecting all surfaces, property, and homeowner belongings from damage throughout the project.
