About this file

The document is a Bid Scope Materials List for a residential rehabilitation project in Escambia County, Florida, involving comprehensive home renovation and appliance replacement. The scope includes detailed specifications for kitchen and bathroom fixtures, appliances, flooring, lighting, roofing, gutters, and windows, with specific brand and model requirements such as GE appliances, Delta faucets, Shaw flooring, and CertainTeed roofing materials. The project appears to be managed by the county, with contact person Scott Sanchez, and is open to licensed and insured general contractors who can submit bids through the OPENGOV platform.

The bid scope emphasizes quality standards for construction and replacement, mandating new braided supply lines for plumbing, proper drywall repair, and finishing techniques. Contractors are required to use EnergyStar approved electrical appliances with LED bulbs, construct cabinetry from plywood with solid hardwood fronts, and protect homeowner property during renovation. The document indicates flexibility in product selection, allowing contractors to use "like, similar, or equal valued products" while maintaining specified quality standards. The county may award line items separately, with a potential focus on emergency services related to roofing and septic/sewer systems.
