About this file

This is a Bid Schedule for mowing services at South Flats under the 2026 TFD Fuels program managed by the Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management Idaho Region (Solicitation Number: 140L2626Q0025). The contract requires mowing of 2,176 acres of South Flats Pasture, with pricing to be submitted by contractors on a per-acre basis. The performance period runs from October 1, 2026 through November 15, 2026 (46 calendar days including holidays and weekends), and the work is estimated to require two 14-foot mowers operating at a capacity of 60 acres per day.

Key operational requirements include contractor notification of work start within three days from the Contracting Officer Representative, with work contingent upon weather and ground conditions suitable for mowing. Work is prohibited if soil damage or non-target vegetation damage would result from the operations. The schedule notes that during the performance period, roads may become impassable and access may be limited due to muddy or wet conditions typical of fall and early winter weather in the region. The contract is structured as an "all or none" award for the total acreage, and contractors must submit unit prices for evaluation.
