About this file
This is a bid notification document for the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) solicitation for a Distribution Advisor for Travel Publications. The contract seeks a liaison between TxDOT's Travel Information Division and the travel publications distribution vendor to provide strategic recommendations on distribution copies, display allocation, cover imagery, pricing, competitive analysis, magazine rack merchandising, and other factors influencing newsstand sales. The solicitation is posted on the TxDOT Procurement Portal through the Euna Procurement (formerly Bonfire) platform, with solicitation number 601440000052687. Responses must be submitted by the opening date and time specified in the posting, with no late submissions accepted. The procurement contact is Amy McGlothlin at amy.mcglothlin@txdot.gov or 936-633-4343.
TxDOT uses the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) code to standardize purchases and select vendors from the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts Centralized Master Bidders List (CMBL). New suppliers seeking to provide materials, equipment, supplies, and services to TxDOT must apply to be added to the CMBL to receive future bidding opportunities. Existing TxDOT vendors should verify their current information on the CMBL file and ensure applicable NIGP class and item codes are selected for services they can provide. The file does not specify contract term, renewal options, pricing terms, set-asides, or award amounts.
