About this file
This is a solicitation instruction document issued by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) for the procurement of brine transport trailers through the Bonfire Hub procurement platform. The solicitation, numbered 601320000071229, seeks responses for spray tank trailers with a maximum capacity of 4,200 gallons for the Yoakum District. Respondents must submit their bids through the TxDOT Procurement Portal at https://txdot.bonfirehub.com/ by the opening date specified in the posting, as no late submissions will be accepted. All solicitation updates, addendums, documentation, questions and answers, and changes will be posted on the website, requiring vendors to monitor the site regularly for any modifications to the opportunity.
Vendors interested in responding must register with the Euna Procurement website, which has replaced the previous Bonfire system. The Texas Department of Transportation utilizes the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) code to standardize purchases and select vendors from the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts Centralized Master Bidders List (CMBL). New suppliers should apply to be added to the CMBL to receive bidding opportunities, while existing TxDOT vendors should verify their CMBL information is current and that applicable NIGP codes are selected for products they can supply. Additional support and information can be accessed through the provided links or by contacting Chester Osborne, CTCD, at Chester.Osborne@txdot.gov or 713-835-4437.

USE OF NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF GOVERNMENTAL PURCHASING CODE
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) uses the National Institute of governmental Purchasing, Inc., (NIGP) code to standardize purchases by conforming to the class, item, and group structure of the code. The NIGP code is used to select vendors for our master vendor file from the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) Centralized Master Bidders List (CMBL).
New suppliers and other vendors wishing to furnish materials, equipment, supplies and services to TxDOT should apply to be on the CMBL to receive bidding opportunities.
Existing TxDOT vendors need only be concerned that the information listed on the CMBL file is correct, and that the applicable NIGP class and item are selected for those you can provide.
CMBL information is available online at: https://comptroller.texas.gov/purchasing/vendor/cmbl/ or by phoning 512-463-3459.
