About this file

This is a bid notification document for a utility bodies bed removal and installation project in Texas. The procurement involves the removal of existing utility truck beds and installation of new ones on municipal vehicles. The project encompasses multiple utility body installations across the requesting jurisdiction's fleet. Specific bid submission deadlines, site visit opportunities, and pre-bid meetings are outlined to allow potential contractors to assess project requirements and submit competitive proposals. The contract award is anticipated following the bid evaluation process, with the term covering the service delivery period for bed removal and installation work.

Pricing for the project is to be submitted on a per-unit or lump-sum basis as specified in the bid documents, with payment contingent upon satisfactory completion of work. The procurement may include set-asides for small or disadvantaged businesses depending on state and local contracting policies. Funding for this project is sourced from the municipality's capital or operational budget allocated for fleet maintenance and upgrades. Additional details regarding insurance requirements, equipment specifications, warranty provisions, and contractor qualifications are contained within the full bid documents and should be reviewed thoroughly by all interested bidders.
