About this file
This is a Bid Notice for Parks & Recreation Equipment and Installation issued by the State of Oregon. The primary objective of this procurement is to gather industry feedback and assess current supplier capabilities to inform the development of a comprehensive state-wide cooperative purchasing contract for parks and recreation amenities. The notice seeks qualified vendors to provide equipment and installation services for parks and recreation facilities across Oregon. The procurement process is designed as an information-gathering initiative rather than a traditional competitive bid, allowing the state to evaluate market conditions, supplier capabilities, and available products before establishing formal cooperative purchasing agreements. Interested vendors are encouraged to submit responses demonstrating their experience, product offerings, installation capabilities, and pricing structures for parks and recreation equipment and services.
The notice does not establish a single awarded contract at this stage but rather serves as a market assessment tool to inform future cooperative purchasing agreements. Respondents should provide detailed information regarding their pricing structures, equipment options, installation methodologies, and experience with similar projects. This preliminary procurement allows Oregon to establish a foundation for larger-scale cooperative purchasing initiatives that may benefit multiple state agencies and local jurisdictions. Vendors responding to this notice will be considered as potential partners in subsequent competitive solicitations for parks and recreation amenities, positioning them favorably for future contract opportunities with the state.
