About this file
This Bid Notice pertains to Nassau County, New York's procurement for On Call Emergency Repair Services for Traffic Signal Equipment. The County seeks a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive emergency repair services for traffic signals, flashing beacon lights, and associated components on an as-needed basis. Services must include all necessary tools, equipment, materials, supplies, labor, and supervision, with the County retaining sole discretion to determine what constitutes an emergency qualifying for service dispatch.
The notice establishes specific submission requirements and timelines for interested vendors to submit bids for consideration. Vendors must demonstrate qualifications and capability to respond rapidly to emergency service requests throughout the County. The contract will operate on an on-call basis, meaning compensation is contingent upon actual emergency repair work performed rather than a fixed retainer arrangement. Interested parties should review all bid requirements and submission procedures detailed in the notice to ensure compliance with Nassau County's procurement standards and timeline.
