About this file
This document is a Bid Price Form for ground maintenance services issued by the City of Gainesville, Florida, targeting maintenance of the Sweetwater Duck Pond area. The project encompasses ground maintenance for 270,072 square feet (62 acres) along Sweetwater Branch Creek from NE 5th Avenue to NE 10th Avenue, with services including weeding, edging, trimming, raking, shrubbery and turf inspection. The bid form outlines three primary service lines: 10 times per year ground maintenance, 15 times per year mowing and additional services, and 50 hours of potential additional work at an hourly rate agreed upon by both parties.
The pricing structure includes unit prices for different maintenance activities, with provisions for additional work to be charged at an hourly rate that includes supervision and overhead. Consumables for additional work will be billed at cost plus 10%. The bid form allows for flexibility in maintenance needs, permitting the City to request supplemental services beyond the standard maintenance scope. The document does not specify specific pricing amounts for the standard maintenance lines but provides a framework for bidders to propose their rates for ground maintenance and potential supplemental services at the Sweetwater Branch Creek location.
