The contractor must provide preventative maintenance and emergency repair services on the SCADA equipment, including labor, travel, per diem, parts, supplies, transportation, and necessary expenses. The contractor must respond to service requests within 24 hours and emergency repairs within 8 hours.
The pricing structure includes hourly rates for maintenance/inspection/repair services during normal business hours (estimated 150 hours), non-emergency repairs outside normal hours (estimated 24 hours), and emergency calls (estimated 24 hours). Parts replacement has an estimated budget of $5,000 for the term of the agreement. CDCR reserves the right to augment the agreement dollar amount by 50%. The contractor must possess a valid California Contractors State License Board "C-7" specialty license and/or "C-10" license and employ a minimum of two qualified service technicians. The DVBE program applies, though this IFB is exempt from DVBE requirements, with the state committed to achieving legislatively established goals for DVBE participation whenever possible.
