About this file

This document contains Bonfire Instructions to Respondents issued by the Texas Office of the Attorney General (OAG) for Solicitation Number 302-26-02263, a Service of Process (SoP) Request for Proposal. The instructions direct vendors to register and submit responses through the Bonfire procurement platform accessible via the OAG Procurement Portal at https://texasoag.bonfirehub.com/. The solicitation permits a seven-day submission window, with proposals due on April 9, 2026. Detailed step-by-step registration and submission instructions, along with video guidance, are available through the Bonfire vendor support portal at https://vendorsupport.gobonfire.com/. General technical support for Bonfire is also provided through the vendor support portal.

The OAG utilizes the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) code system to standardize purchases and select vendors from the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts' Centralized Master Bidders List (CMBL). New suppliers interested in furnishing materials, equipment, supplies, and services to the OAG must apply to the CMBL to receive bidding opportunities, while existing vendors should verify their current information and applicable NIGP classifications are accurate. No specific pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent information, or award values are detailed in this instructions document.

USE OF NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF GOVERNMENTAL PURCHASING CODE

The Texas Office of the Attorney General (OAG) uses the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing, Inc. (NIGP) code to standardize purchases by conforming to the class, item, and group structure of the code. The NIGP code is used to select vendors for our master vendor file from the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) Centralized Master Bidders List (CMBL).

New suppliers and other vendors wishing to furnish materials, equipment, supplies, and services to OAG should apply to be on the CMBL to receive bidding opportunities.

Existing vendors need only be concerned that the information listed on the CMBL file is correct, and that the applicable NIGP class and item are selected for those that you can provide.

CMBL information is available online at:
