The addendum addresses questions about including a tablet as an optional item, whether students will be doing live x-ray exposures in the nurses' room, and whether a refurbished 2010 AMX4 portable x-ray unit would be acceptable.

Massasoit Community College Bid 2022-07 Multi X-Ray System Equipment
Addendum #1 dated March 9, 2022
Massasoit Community College issues Addendum #1 to provide clarification and additional information in response to proposer’s questions. All responses are in bold. Upon the release of this Addendum, the question and answer period will be over.
Please be advised that Massasoit Community College’s request for multi x-ray system equipment is being funded by a Massachusetts Skills Capital Grant. Grant funding will expire on June 30, 2022. All x-ray system equipment must be delivered/installed/operational on Massasoit Community College’s Brockton Campus on or before this date.
1. The wireless DR panel comes with its own workstation, this would be used by both rooms to acquire all of the images. A tablet would give the flexibility to use the AMX4 outside the room and capture an expose/image that would be reviewed on the tablet. Would you like to include the tablet in the main bid or list as an option?
Please list as an option. Please recommend the tablet that you believe will work best for the Konica or equivalent Universal Wireless DR Panel that you are proposing.
2. Will students be doing live x-ray exposures in the nurses’ room?
Yes.
3. I believe that GE stopped manufacturing the AMX4 portable in 2010. Would a 2010 AMX4 portable that is refurbished in 2022 be acceptable?
The College has been unable to confirm whether GE stopped manufacturing the AMX 4 Plus portable x-ray unit prior to January 2017 as stated in the bid documents, with that being said the college would prefer a unit that’s original manufactured date is no older than 2010. Would a 2010 AMX4 Plus portable x-ray unit that is refurbished in 2022 be acceptable? Yes.
