About this file
This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Bartow County School System Purchasing Department for the procurement of approximately 200 Clear Touch Interactive Displays and related installation services. The project encompasses the purchase of Clear Touch Interactive Display panels (model CTI-6075K+UH20), extended five-year warranties, web cameras (model CTS-SC110-UHHD), wall mount installation across multiple school locations, and an optional installation of ceiling-mounted speakers. The RFP solicitation began with a deadline for proposal submission of May 13, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time, with sealed proposals to be delivered to Mr. Albert Zielke, Purchasing Supervisor, at the Central Office located at 65 Gilreath Road NW, Cartersville, Georgia. Questions regarding the project were required to be submitted by email to purchasing@bartow.k12.ga.us by 4:30 p.m. on April 27, 2022, with responses posted by April 29, 2022. The desired project completion timeframe was July 2022, with all displays to arrive and be installed during that month. Approximately half of the upgrades were designated for one high school (Cass High School), with remaining quantities distributed across various schools throughout the district.
The evaluation of proposals will be based on five weighted criteria: Project Cost (30%), Proposed Project Solution (20%), Quality of Service from References (20%), Completion Timeline (20%), and Projects of Similar Scope and Size (10%), for a total possible score of 100 points. Proposals must include one original and two copies, submitted by authorized representatives of the proposing organization. All proposers must provide organizational background information, financial stability documentation, a project action plan addressing deadlines and infrastructure integration, and references for similar completed projects. Contract award is contingent upon the Bartow County School System securing funding and deciding to move forward with the project. Specific material standards are required, including Panduit wire mold in International White color and matching connection boxes with stainless steel or aluminum faceplates. The contractor must provide a one-year installation warranty covering labor and materials, conduct system testing upon completion, and remove existing equipment. Late proposals will not be accepted regardless of cause, and the system's clock will be the sole timekeeper for deadline purposes.
