About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the procurement of 8 cubic yard bear-proof dumpsters for Tyndall Air Force Base. The SOW outlines the key technical specifications for the dumpsters, including 12 gauge hardened steel bodies, 14 gauge steel front-loading lids with quick-release mechanisms, and 10 gauge steel skids and pads. The dumpsters must be powder-coated dark brown and have integrated, non-clip access panels to ensure bear security. The dumpsters are to be delivered, unloaded, and placed at the Civil Engineering 6000 Storage Area.
The related federal contract opportunity is solicitation FA481924QA073, issued by the Department of the Air Force's Air Combat Command, for 18 new bear-proof dumpsters meeting the SOW specifications. The dumpsters are to be delivered to Tyndall Air Force Base.
