About this file

This document is an Addendum #2 issued by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for Bid No. BDC21-24/25 related to the Bahia Honda State Park Beach Renourishment project. The addendum notifies bidders of changes to the construction drawings to align with U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Sand-Placement Statewide Biological Opinion. Specifically, the foreshore beach slope has been adjusted from 3:1 to 4:1, and the total bid volume for sand has been reduced from 2,757 CY to 2,483 CY. The revised plans are incorporated into the bid package and supersede the original documents. Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum and include it with their bid submission.

The addendum does not provide details on pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent contractors, funding sources, or other salient commercial information. It focuses solely on the technical changes to the project scope and drawings.
