About this file

This is a Bid Addendum No. 1 issued by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection's Bureau of Design and Construction for the Letchworth Pavilion Hurricane Debby restoration project (DEP BID NO. BDC06-26/27). The addendum, issued on October 14, 2026, addresses nine clarifying questions submitted by bidders and plan holders regarding project scope, requirements, and conditions. No mandatory site visit or pre-bid meeting is required for this solicitation. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum by signing and including it with their bid submission to Alisha Sadler, Contracts Specialist, at the Bureau of Design and Construction office in Tallahassee, Florida; failure to do so may result in bid rejection. This is the only addendum issued for the project, and all other contract documents remain in full force and effect.

Key project clarifications specified in the addendum include the following: bidders must include the cost of environmental testing required for permitting in their proposals, as this testing has not been completed; roofing systems, roof-deck repairs, and structural repairs are to be referenced in the project plans; construction must comply with current Florida Building Codes regarding hurricane-code and product-approval requirements; no bid bonds or performance/payment bonds are required; builder's risk insurance is required; and the park will remain operational during construction. Pricing terms and funding sources are not detailed in this addendum document.
