About this file

This is a Scope of Work document for Blissfield Community Schools in Michigan detailing a decentralized PA system project across three school buildings: High School, Middle School, and Elementary School. The project involves complete removal of existing PA equipment and installation of new equipment throughout all three facilities located on the same property and connected by fiber optics. The system must support individual and district-wide announcements, phone system integration, and compliance with Alyssa's Law regarding panic alarms and emergency response capabilities. New CAT 6a wiring has been pre-installed to all areas prior to equipment installation. The speaker requirements total 78 units across the three schools: 15 speakers for the Elementary School (including 2 outdoor playground speakers, gymnasium, library, bell lab, 7 hallway locations, lounge, main office, and 24 classrooms); 22 speakers for the Middle School (including 3 hallway locations, gymnasium, library, main office, cafeteria, and 15 classrooms); and 41 speakers for the High School (including 4 hallway locations, 13 classrooms, robotics lab, library, cafeteria, gymnasium, main office, central office, CCC, and weight room). Network switches and additional switching equipment will be provided by Blissfield Schools prior to installation.

The document does not specify pricing terms, contract duration, bid submission dates, award dates, or funding sources. No information is provided regarding set-asides, incumbent contractors, or renewal options. The project scope focuses exclusively on equipment specifications and installation requirements without addressing financial or temporal parameters necessary for bid evaluation or contract administration.
