About this file
This document is an addendum to an Invitation for Bids (IFB) issued by Baltimore City Community College (BCCC) for the replacement of hot water heaters at their campus located at 2901 Liberty Heights Ave, Baltimore, Maryland. The project is designated as BCCC Project No. BCCC-FR-22-PE-001 and Solicitation No. BPM026035. The addendum extends the project duration to 120 days, revokes the Small Business Reserve Designated Notice, and confirms that only contractors who attended the mandatory site visits on October 6, 2021 and October 12, 2021 will be deemed responsive and eligible to bid. A pre-bid summary is also included, which outlines the bid due date of October 19, 2021 by 2:00 PM through the state's eMMA procurement system, the mandatory site visit requirement, and the procurement governance under COMAR Title 21 and Maryland Department of General Services construction contract terms and conditions. Bid, performance, and payment bonds are required due to the estimated project value.
The scope of work involves the removal and replacement of two hot water heaters. This project is funded by the State of Maryland and the City of Baltimore. No additional pricing details, set asides, or incumbent information is provided in the addendum. Responses to impromptu questions during the pre-bid meeting will not be considered formal responses, and all questions must be submitted in writing for an official response from the college.
