Questions and Answers Solicitation # BBG50-R-14-0009 Craft Editor

Questions:

1. Technical Proposal - is it in other words a Resume?

2. Except when filing we should title it “Technical Proposal" and NOT "Resume"?

3. Attachment B -Past Performance Reference - As I understood it must be completed by my previous client/s. Should I complete only one of three sections in attachment B, if I had just one client but for a long period of time?

4. Attachment A - Price Schedule - The difference between Base Period and Option Period I, II, III is not clear to me. What is the difference between Base Period and Option Periods?

5. "Proposals shall be in writing and must be signed by an official authorized to bind the organization." I assume this means the proposal is signed by me? I'm a sole proprietor. It's only me in this so called "organization" applying for the job.

6. "All proposals must be sent via courier or overnight delivery and must be received before the deadline set forth above. Proposals are due at the Broadcasting Board of Governors, Office of Contracts, 330 C Street, SW, Room 4007 F, Washington, DC 20237 on February 25, 2014, at 12:00PM, Eastern Daylight Time."

Since I work here already, can I walk it over to the contracts office and drop it off?

7. Do we need to put in the proposal every 6 months?

8. For the past performance references, I’m not sure whom to put down in the Client's name… Am I considered the client here??

8A. Are you? Or is the reporter or language division I worked with supposed to go there?

9. The forms say that I cannot fax or email them, can I fed ex them directly to the Office of Contracts or do you have to do something with them before I submit?

10. Also, is there standard language I should use for the "Description of Work Performed"?

11. Can editing Supervisors be used as references?

12. Can they carry the references to your office?

13. What is the exact deadline for applying for FBO?
