About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance & Special Operations Forces (ISR & SOF) Directorate, Special Warfare (SW) Program Office (AFLCMC/WISN) to identify potential sources for a man-portable, small, tactical, maritime and vehicle-mounted portable power bank solution. The agency is seeking a rechargeable power bank that can provide sustainable electrical power to support Special Tactics (ST) operators. Key requirements include AC power output of 120V/1600W, USB-A/USB-C/12V car port/wireless charging capabilities, and weight/dimension specifications. This is an informational RFI only, not a solicitation, and the government will not reimburse respondents for any associated costs. The RFI provides background on the capability gap the power bank is intended to address and lists threshold and objective system requirements. Responses to this RFI may inform the government's acquisition strategy, statement of work, and performance specifications for a future solicitation.
