QUESTION GOVERNMENT RESPONSE
8/22/2017 1 N/A Do you know if drawings for the buildings or the estimated linear feet of ductwork for the buildings are going to be posted later for this solicitation?
The statement of work listed building square footage.
Drawings and estimated linear footage of duct work will not be provided. However, if you would like to visit the buildings we have a scheduled site visit scheduled for 28 August 2017 at 0900 hours CST at the base in Tulsa, OK. In addition a site visit to measure the duct work in the buildings can be scheduled by e‐mailing david.a.hugueley.mil@mail.mil AND amanda.j.lonsdale.mil@mail.mil
8/22/2017 2 I am interested in participating in the site visit next Monday. Is there any paperwork required prior to that meeting? Security clearance etc.…?
Just bring a valid driver's license and check in with the front gate. They will then bring you a contractor's badge that will have to be returned at the end of the visit. We will escort everybody on base at the start time for the site visit.
8/31/2017 3 Could you please tel me how many VAV’s are in each building that have VAV’s, as well as the name of said buildings?
Answer still being worked by Engineering
8/31/2017 4 Has any thought been given to adding the cleaning of the HVAC units to this project?
Leave the project for ductwork only we do not want to expand the scope or cost at this time.
8/31/2017 5 Can you please provide the wage rate classification for the employees who will be performing the cleaning?
The wage rate classification will come from the Service Contract Act as the cleaning of ducts is a service and not a construction project. The wage rate classification listing is included with the solicitation.
