The above numbered solicitation is amended as set forth below. The hour and date specified for receipt of proposals remains unchanged. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment. Failure to receive your acknowledgement of this amendment may result in the rejection of your offer.
SECTION 1 – AMENDMENTS TO THE SOLICITATION
This section of the amendment provides modifications to the above referenced solicitation. All of other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged.
Item 1: Solicitation BAA-NIAID-DAIT-NIHAI2013167, ATTACHMENT 7, (2) Travel (B) is hereby amended to read as follows, Annual Large-scale T cell Epitope Discovery Program Progress Meetings: The offeror should include costs to travel the contract Principal Investigator, up to three (3) additional staff, and two (2) EDWG members each two day annual meeting, which will be held in the Bethesda, MD area.
SECTION 2 – QUESTIONS AND RESPONSES
This section of the amendment provides questions submitted by potential applicants/offerors and the responses provided by
NIAID. The responses are offered for information only and do not modify or become part of this solicitation. This Amendment will be updated as needed to add further questions and their related responses. All potential offerors are advised to refer back to
Amendment 1 and 2 for additional Questions & Answers.
Question 1: Could you please confirm whether Lyme borreliosis is considered a Group I pathogen for this bid or whether it has been removed?
Answer: For this solicitation NIAID will consider applications containing studies on Helicobacter pylori, Hepatitis C, Hepatitis E, and Lyme borreliosis as responsive to the BAA as these pathogens were listed on the NIAID Emerging and Re-emerging Diseases Group I – Pathogen List at the time the solicitation was published.
