About this file

This document is a Contract Amendment (Amendment Number 5) between the state of North Dakota, specifically acting through its Department of Health and Human Services and Office of Management and Budget's State Procurement Office, and Care Systems, Inc. The amendment is for the Technology Contract Scheduling Software, identified as DHHS Contract #050-11873.

The amendment focuses on integrating Granicus Targeted Messaging Service (TMS) into CareWare to enable secure SMS notifications for the North Dakota State Hospital and Life Skills and Transition Center. The total first-year cost is $17,200, with additional costs of $25,855 for years 2-5. The project includes 14 days of CareWare Granicus Texting Integration Development and a monthly routine admin/maintenance fee that escalates by 3% annually. The scope covers various notification events such as shift availability, new shift bidding, swap requests, and schedule updates, with the system designed to send SMS notifications that require employees to log into a Lite Portal to respond. The contract specifies that the system will not track or process employee responses, with potential future enhancements to be developed separately.
