W912NS21Q3513 – RFQ Tensile Tester

CLIN 0001) Tension Tester – Quantity 1 EA Must meet or exceed all the below salient characteristics

a) Vendor must be authorized distributor of product.

b) Item must be Trade America Act (TAA) Compliant.

c) System will be brand new unit, not refurbished or rebuilt and must not be a gray market item.

d) Seeking a Tensile Testing System capable of strain testing variable load rates from a minimum of 100 pounds to a maximum of at least 30,000 pounds (150 kN).

e) Capable of tension, compression, bend, flexing, peel, shear, stress, and creep testing.

f) Capable of testing flat, round, or irregular shaped samples.

g) Return speed of at least 4 inches per minute

h) Piston travel of at least 4.75 inches.

i) Be wired for shop power of 120 Volts AC, 60HZ, with no more than 20 amps power usage.

j) Capable of displaying units in Lbf (pound-force), N (Newton), kN (kilonewton), kgf

(kilogram-force), gf (gram-force), mV/V (transducer sensitivity), mV output of load-cell), PSI (pounds per square inch), and MPa (megapascal).

k) Have an automatic rate-of-load display.

l) Digital display with minimum of a 1 pound resolution.

m) Simultaneous display of peak, gross, and rate values.

n) Multiple stored load cell profiles.

o) Accuracy with-in plus or minus .5% (one-half percent) of indicated load.

p) Ability to connect to a computers USB-B port.

q) Include flat jaw inserts and round stock inserts.

r) Include gripping jaw set.

s) Include a set of load cells that will cover the entire range of the machine being offered. Load cells will be calibrated for both tension and compression.

t) Peak load detection; displays and retains highest reading obtained until reset.

u) Capable of interchangeable load cells, without re-calibration.

v) Must be capable of both Tension Testing and Compression Testing.

w) Have an “overload” protection feature.

x) Supplied with a floor stand with built in storage area.

y) System will have an included warranty of at least two years after delivery date. All repair parts must be readily available and easily installed by the owner of the equipment.

z) All Owners Manuals, Safety Notices, Parts Manuals, and Repair manuals shall be included for each system at the time of delivery.
