About this file

This statement of work outlines requirements for the purchase of Trimble geodetic GNSS systems including 17 Trimble R12i GNSS receivers, 17 TSC5 controllers, and 71 one-year RTX PPP subscriptions from the National Park Service. The systems must be able to acquire positional information with centimeter precision and offer tilt compensation, web-based programming, and Precise Point Positioning capabilities. Technical requirements specify details of the TSC5 controllers and R12i receivers including operating systems, accuracy specifications, warranty periods, and training requirements. Delivery is required within 90 days with all items received by June 30, 2023 and training completed by September 30, 2023. The related federal contract opportunity is solicitation 140P2122Q0060 for these Trimble R12i GNSS receivers from the Department of the Interior National Park Service.

1. SCOPE AND OBJECTIVES

The National Park Service (NPS), Resource Information Services Division, requires GNSS high precision geodetic GNSS systems (quantity 17) to support NPS operations in two rounds of purchasing. The base purchase will include the purchase of 17 Trimble R12i Geodetic GNSS receivers, TSC5 controllers and 54 1-year Trimble RTX PPP subscriptions. Option 1 will use any remaining funds, if available, to purchase additional Trimble R12i receivers, TSC5 controllers, and 1-year RTX service. These systems will be able to acquire positional information to centimeter precision, offer an IMU-based tilt positioning feature, be programmable via web interface, work with Trimble Business Center software workflows, and offer satellite-based Precise Point Positioning in the field providing valuable positioning for boundary surveys, infrastructure projects and real-time mapping workflows in National Parks. These devices and software will be fully compatible with existing NPS Trimble survey hardware systems that require enterprise-wide processing software.
