About this file

This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management Bishop Field Office (Solicitation Number DOILFBO260008) to conduct market research on contractors capable of supporting Remote Off-Grid Kiosk (ROK) installation and maintenance services. The RFI is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a commitment to issue a future solicitation or contract. The Government will not pay for costs associated with responding to this RFI, and non-response does not preclude participation in any future solicitation.

The Bishop Field Office requires installation and maintenance of six Remote Off-Grid Kiosks—five Complex ROK kiosks and one RV Dump ROK kiosk—at designated recreation sites to enable secure, cashless fee collection at campgrounds and one RV dump station. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for delivery, installation, configuration of cloud-based management tools for remote monitoring and reporting, and maintenance and repair services during the contract term. The project addresses operational inefficiencies related to handling large cash volumes, as the Bishop Field Office processes 2–10 times more cash than other California field offices. Interested parties must submit responses limited to 10 pages to Mike Anson (manson@blm.gov; 279-977-3565) and should include company information, GSA contract details, relevant experience, capabilities related to the services described, teaming or subcontracting arrangements, and any other relevant information for the Government's market research and acquisition strategy development.
