About this file

This notice solicits capability statements for a sole-source communication site lease with the Cahuilla Band of Indians. The Bureau of Land Management seeks to lease tower space and rack space for three repeaters and three microwave shots at the Toro Peak communications site. The site provides required coverage for the resource area, as no other nearby sites have availability and testing confirmed this location meets coverage needs. Interested parties may submit capability statements by a specified date to be considered for future purchases, though this notice does not obligate the government to award a contract. The justification cites ensuring employee safety, public safety, and resource protection as reasons for limiting competition to the incumbent provider at this location.
