About this file
The document is an Indian Affairs Indian Economic Enterprise (IEE) Representation Form for a federal contract opportunity related to a tractor and accessories procurement. The form requires offerors to self-certify their status as an Indian Economic Enterprise under the Buy Indian Act, with specific compliance requirements at the time of offer, contract award, and throughout the contract term. Offerors must provide details including the name of a federally recognized tribal entity, Unique Entity ID (UEI), legal business name, and the name of the 51% or greater owner of the IEE firm. The form emphasizes strict legal consequences for submitting false or misleading information, with potential violations punishable under federal statutes.
The solicitation (No. 140A2325Q0156) is issued by the Department of the Interior's Bureau of Indian Affairs Bureau of Indian Education for the procurement of a tractor and accessories, apparently for a JFK-related project. The IEE Representation Form is a critical component of the bidding process, requiring precise documentation to qualify for the set-aside contract under the Buy Indian Act. Contracting officers retain the right to request additional eligibility documentation throughout the acquisition lifecycle, including during pre-award and proposal evaluation stages.
