About this file

This file is Appendix 2 detailing commercial pesticide certification categories, likely part of the technical specifications for a Fish and Wildlife Service contract for invasive species control at Missisquoi National Wildlife Refuge in Vermont.

The document outlines 10 commercial pesticide certification categories and their associated 3-year recertification requirements. Key categories include Agricultural Plant (Category 1A, 8 hours), Agricultural Animal (1B, 6 hours), Forest Pest Control (Category 2, 6 hours), Ornamentals/Shade Trees/Turf (Category 3A-C, 10 hours each), and Aquatic Vegetation Control (Category 5A, 8 hours). Each category specifies the scope of pesticide application, such as Category 1D requiring concurrent certification in Category 1A for soil and agricultural commodity fumigation. The certifications are specifically intended for pesticide use or supervision on property not owned or leased by the applicator.
