About this file
This document is an Indian Affairs Indian Economic Enterprise (IEE) Representation Form used for self-certification under the Buy Indian Act. The form requires offerors to verify they meet the definition of an Indian Economic Enterprise as defined in the Department of the Interior Acquisition Regulation (DIAR) Part 1480. Companies must demonstrate eligibility at three key stages: when submitting an offer, at contract award, and throughout the entire contract term.
The form includes fields for the Federally Recognized Tribal Entity, Unique Entity ID (UEI), Legal Business Name, and the name of the 51% (or greater) owner of the IEE Firm. The document emphasizes strict compliance, warning that any false or misleading information constitutes a violation punishable under 18 U.S.C. 1001 and potentially subject to additional penalties under 31 U.S.C. 3729 to 3731 and 18 U.S.C. 287. Contracting Officers reserve the right to request additional eligibility documentation at any point during the acquisition process.
