About this file
This is a Specifications document for a federal contract opportunity with Yosemite National Park requiring the supply and delivery of miscellaneous building materials for the reconstruction of the Tuolumne Meadows Ranger Office.
The contractor shall supply all items listed in the Quote and Price Schedule (Attachment 01) or provide comparable alternatives with manufacturer and part numbers. Items must be organized into four bundles (Bundle 1, Bundle 2, Bundle 3, and Bundle 4), with each bundle wrapped and delivered together as a complete unit. Multiple deliveries are permitted, but each individual bundle must remain intact. Delivery must occur within 45 days after receipt of order (ARO) to Attn: Building and Grounds, 5083 Foresta Road, El Portal, California 95318. Delivery scheduling requires at least 48 hours advance notice, and unless pre-approved by the National Park Service, deliveries will not be accepted on Fridays, weekends, or Federal holidays. If the contractor cannot provide specified items, the contracting officer must be contacted to approve suitable alternatives. Contractors should verify current road conditions prior to hauling, as vehicles over 45 feet are prohibited and 1-way controlled traffic exists 20 miles east of Mariposa due to rockslide repairs. Highway 41 to Wawona may close during inclement weather. Travel restrictions and related delays are considered existing conditions and will not be grounds for additional compensation.
