About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details a solar array installation project at the Marconi Headquarters in Wellfleet, MA for the Cape Cod National Seashore. The project requires a complete turnkey installation of a 20 kW ground-mounted photovoltaic system, including site preparations, engineering, procurement, and construction. The contractor must obtain all necessary permits, conduct utility verifications, perform system calculations, and secure Eversource interconnection approval, ensuring compliance with International Building Codes, NEC 2023, and Massachusetts State Electrical Code.

The SOW includes four optional line items: (1) cedar split rail fencing, (2) a photovoltaic system monitor, (3) a prefabricated weatherproof enclosure installation, and (4) removal and disposal of existing concrete footings. The project has a 214-calendar-day performance period, and the work must be scheduled to minimize disruption to daily park operations. All power outages must be pre-scheduled and conducted on weekends. Final project acceptance is contingent upon obtaining Eversource's written interconnection approval and demonstrating successful system operation.
