Specifications
TITLE: Towable Attenuator for Greenbelt Park/BW Parkway
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
Purchase (1) Scorpion II Attenuator, (1) Light Arrow Board Solar Battery, and (1) Wireless Remote Sign
SCOPE OF WORK:
1. The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, transportation, supplies, materials, parts, tools, and equipment for the work. The Contractor shall provide all items to build the attenuator, light arrow board solar battery, and wireless remote sign.
2. The Contractor shall deliver the (1) attenuator, (1) light arrow board solar battery, and (1) wireless remote sign to 6565 Greenbelt Road, Greenbelt Maryland 20770
3. The Contractor will build the attenuator to the following specifications:
a) Provide one (1) Scorpion II TL-3 Towable Attenuator from TafFix devices,
b) Scorpion II TL-3 Trailer Attenuator with dual Amber Strobes mounted on rear, wired to work with 6-way plug (per DOT) with 7-way adapter available.
c) These should be wired into the existing strobe lights, with Telescopic Anti-Rational (TARS)
d) 48x96 15-Light Arrow Board with Solar/Battery
e) Power Tilt Mechanism Actuator
f) Wireless Remote and on-board controller
g) Road Work Ahead sign with Directional Overlays to include “LEFT, SHOULDER, 2R/L Lanes
h) Document holder and wheel chocks with bracket, mounted
4. All units and equipment made, and all mechanisms installed in this contract must be under warranty and shall be repaired at the responsibility of the Service Provider.
