About this file

This Performance Work Statement (PWS) details a telecommunications infrastructure relocation project for the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in California. The primary objective is to relocate a 2-bay micro site Pepro communications shelter/vault, complete with a 20-foot tower, solar panels, and associated equipment from the Riverside Radio Shop to Old Woman's Peak in Essex, CA. The project involves transporting approximately 4,400 pounds of equipment across challenging terrain, including a site with no access road and potential environmental obstacles like wildlife, uneven surfaces, and variable weather conditions.

The contractor will be responsible for comprehensive site preparation, equipment transportation, installation, and documentation, including taking high-resolution photographs of the shelter, tower, and solar panel installation. The project requires strict adherence to safety protocols, compliance with various codes and standards, and a warranty covering materials and workmanship. The contract has a one-year period of performance, with final acceptance contingent upon a thorough government inspection and approval process. The equipment includes a Pepro aluminum shelter with Faraday Cage technology, four 200W Renogy monocrystalline solar panels, and a 20-foot tower, with a total site weight of approximately 4,400 pounds.
