This is a Purchase Description document for raw materials to be delivered to Rock Island Arsenal Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA-JMTC).
The required material is copper aluminum alloy, UNS No. C63000, in either O26 hot rolled and temper annealed or O32 hot extruded and temper annealed condition. The specification calls for 4.00-inch diameter round bar stock measuring 24 feet in total length, consisting of two bars of 11.5 feet each, manufactured per ASTM B150 specifications. TQ50 temper is explicitly not acceptable. Delivery must comply with five specific requirements: material shall be transported on a flatbed truck and securely banded to a pallet or skid; loads containing multiple heat numbers must be palletized and separated by heat number; all material must be properly labeled with easy-to-read tags that include certifications of conformance and certified test results; and individual bundles may not exceed 5,000 pounds. Materials failing to meet these requirements upon delivery to RIA-JMTC are subject to rejection.
