About this file

The document provided is the Salient Characteristics for a NON-CONTACT RADAR SENSOR, 80 GHz. The key requirements are: the sensor shall measure water levels in open channels with a total measurement certainty of no more than 0.01 ft. or 0.1% of indicated reading, have a depth range of 30m, include SDI-12, RS-232, and RS485 communication interfaces, have an enclosed horn and no moving parts, and operate from -40°C to 60°C.

The related federal contract opportunity is a Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation for 6 units of the NON-CONTACT RADAR SENSOR, 80 GHz, to be delivered to the USGS California Water Science Center within 30 days of award. The RFQ will be issued on or about 09/09/2024, with quotes due on 09/13/2024. This is a total small business set-aside, with a NAICS code of 334513 and a size standard of 750 employees.
