About this file

This document contains the salient characteristics for a Tracer Discharge Measurement System that the U.S. Geological Survey Hydrologic Instrumentation Facility is procuring. The system must consist of a portable, compact, lightweight device that uses the sodium chloride tracer dilution method to determine stream discharge. It must be suitable for use in fast flowing, turbulent waters and interface with compatible conductivity probes. The system must have specific technical capabilities related to memory, temperature range, battery life, communications, and ingress protection. The procurement includes 3 systems to be delivered to the USGS Colorado Water Science Center within 30 days of award. A Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on or about 06/11/2024 with quotes due on 06/17/2024. The anticipated award date is 07/17/2024. This is a total small business set-aside with a NAICS code of 334513 and a size standard of 750 employees.
